The legendary car coat has evolved over the years. Originally designed for the warmth and comfort of motorists during the early days of open top cars, the lengths have ebbed and flowed over time but almost always finishing around mid thigh. Our new Watson is a hybrid and sits between a classic car coat and a shirt jacket. The main body is unlined while the sleeves are bemberg-lined for ease of wearing. Detailed with button-through shirt cuffs and side entry pockets, wear it over a chunky sweater on date night and, if your name is Luca, as you hug the curves of the Amalfi coast in your Alfa Romeo Spider.

For comparison with one of your existing garments, please lay garment on a flat surface and follow the key measurement points. For chest and neck, if you double the flat measurement, you will get close to the full body measurement.
